Optimal preventive switching of components in degrading systems

چکیده

In practice, at many instances, it is important to maintain the failure-free performance of components in a standby system, as each sudden failure an operating component can result e.g., due imperfect or/and ‘non-instantaneous’ switching on and related adverse effects. Therefore, scheduled preventive switching/replacement that be executed without these consequences one effective methods for increasing reliability characteristics such systems, especially safety-critical applications. this paper, corresponding optimal strategy described justified cold system two aging with degradation modeled by counting Poisson gamma processes. An inspection carried out some optimally predetermined time based observed performed after obtained delay. Detailed numerical examples illustrate our findings.
